Burial is in St. John's Cemetery, Emmetsburg. | | Visitation: The family will greet friends from 4 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. | | Kenneth O値eary was born March 6, 1962, in Emmetsburg, Iowq the son of Robert and Bonnie (Knudson) O値eary. He was a 1980 graduate of Emmetsburg High School. Following his education, Kenny worked for O値eary Construction. Two years later, he moved to Algona and worked for his brother, Pete at O値eary Flying Service. Kenny spent the last 24 years working for Koch Enterprises where he worked project manager.
In February of 1990, Kenny was united in marriage to Marcia Meyers at St. Benedict Catholic Church in St. Benedict, Iowa. They were blessed with two boys.
Kenny enjoyed skydiving, hunting, fishing and stock cars. He was a certified skydive instructor, and his team entertained many crowds jumping at various events. His favorite joy in life was spending time with family, friends and his dog, Dusty.
On Saturday, October 27, Kenny O値eary died at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Kenneth and Peter of Algona, parents: Robert and Bonnie O値eary; two brothers: Robert (Yvonne) of Sibley and Daniel (Gloria) of Emmetsburg; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Peter.
