Florence was the true matriarch of our neighborhood. I enjoyed talking with her over a quiet drink when I was home. The comsument hostess, Florence always had a warm heart and a word of encouragement when I visited. I hope I was able to brighten her day a little when I was able to visit. I will miss her.
