Service: 11:00 a.m., Friday at the Grace United Methodist Church in Oelwein, Iowa. Burial is in Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup, Iowa.
Visitation: The family will greet friends from 4 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the Joyce Funeral Home in Emmetsburg where there will be a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will also take place one hour prior to the funeral service at the Grace United Methodist Church in Oelwein, Iowa.
Gelia M. Saunders was born August 10, 1917, in Oran, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Florence (Clark) Saunders. She attended country schools. On December 23, 1938, Judy was united in marriage to Harold Fuller in Jesup, Iowa. Together, Judy and Harold raised ten children, and owned and operated a fuel station and grocery store. Judy enjoyed flower gardening, quilting and sewing. She loved to bake bread, and watch her children and grandchildren sneak a roll from the counter. On Saturday, September 8, 2007, Mrs. Fuller passed away at the Emmetsburg Care Center. She was 90 years old. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Donna Kaperiva (Hubert) of Belmond, IA, Hugh Fuller (Nan) of Lakeland, GA, Carol Ensley (Vern) of Emmetsburg, Raymond Fuller (Francella) of Estherville, Rick Fuller (Sue) of Mason City, Iowa, Donald Fuller (Dixie) of Leavenworth, KS, Tony Fuller (Doris) of Maynard, IA, Jenny Perham (Tom) of the Marshall Islands and Neal Fuller of Leavenworth, KS; 42 grandchildren, 108 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; daughter, Wanda Curtis; sister, Evelyn Brown and eight grandchildren.

Judy was the best mother-in-law ever. She taught me so many things. I was married to her son Raymond and we lived at Fuller's DX in 1966 while Ray was out of the military for awhile. She was so different from my Mom and I loved her from the time I met her.
