He is survived by his wife, Susan Knutsen of Emmetsburg. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Gordon Sieveke was born in Anaheim, CA the son of Irwin and Emily (Siewert) Sieveke. He enlisted into the United States Navy, serving during WWII. Following his service, he continued his education at the University of Oregon. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree and also attended graduate school.
Gordon was united in marriage to Susan Knutsen on July 13, 1984 in Spencer, Iowa.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Susan Knutsen, of Emmetsburg; four children: Nicki Ewing (Bill) of Arlington Heights, IL, Leslie Sieveke of Tucson, AZ, Randy Sieveke of Tennessee and Gordon Sieveke of Florida; eight grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother and a sister.
