My husband and I would like to convey our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of your beloved Marie. Sometimes words are hard to express at moments like this, but we both truly understand the pain of losing one so dear. We just wanted to share with you something that has brought us both comfort at a similar time in our lives. Psalm 34:18 reassures us that we are never alone, and John 11:14-44 shows us the experience of Jesus resurrecting Lazarus, here on earth, before the very eyes of those he loved. We can only imagine the tears of joy when we too are reunited with our dear loved ones again. (John 5:28) Marie will surly be missed by many of those who's lives she touched, remember the experiences you shared together and learn from them, hold them close to your hearts and cherish them. May you find comfort from those who surround you at this very difficult time. Our sincere condolences to all of you.

It seams so funny how lives are inter-twinned in that we once lived across the street from Marie and Bob and then she shared a room with my Mom at the end. Not to mention Pam (cousin) and Jerry. Sorry for your lose. I will be giving a memorial in her name to the Palo Alto Geneaolgy Society in Emmetsburg -- I know how she loved her family.
