Dave and family. So sorry to read about your mother. She was so kind. Very sweet lady. It's not easy to find joy in your sorrow. Strive to find joy in life. #liveJOYfully. Those words helped me through my mother's death. Hope it gives you comfort too.

Theresa Ann Beukema, the daughter of Mike and Pearl (Echoff) Beukema, was born on August 9, 1922 in Wright County, Iowa. She grew up with 5 brothers and 5 sisters and attended country school in Wright and Hancock County until the 10th grade. Theresa met her husband Adam James Ezarski at a country school program. They were united in marriage in Britt, Iowa on March 23, 1943. Theresa did housework for different people, and later worked as a CNA at Lakeside Lutheran Home. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and birds, the robin, being her favorite. Theresa enjoyed visiting friends and reading the comics in the paper.
Left to cherish Theresa's memory are her children, David (Shirley) Ezarski of Emmetsburg, Roger (Nancy) Ezarski of Ames and Barbara (Rick) Ring of Welcome, MN; 10 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edythe Beukema of Ripon, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her daughter, Ellen; and one great-grandchild.
I was just thinking the other day when I started at the nursing home, how many good older nurses aid where there in the begining. I have not been at that nursing home for many years. Theresa worked in house keeping and did a good job. Good that she had a good place to be in, and my prayers go out to her family members.
